In the 1960’s Carroll Shelby set the benchmark for American horsepower and automotive ingenuity, and the Carroll Shelby Engine Company carries that legacy on today. We have a long and storied history with the small block Ford engine dating back to its inception in 1962. This history includes putting the Shelby American team in the Winner’s Circle at the 1965 FIA world championships, as well victories in drag racing and U.S. road racing championships.
Today the Carroll Shelby Engine Company offers high performance all-aluminum motors built with premium quality components. Every engine needs a strong base, and every engine we build starts with a 356 T6 CNC machined aluminum Shelby block. Once completed our motors deliver anywhere from 393 to 750 horsepower. We offer engines built on 289, 302, 351 Windsor, and 427 FE blocks, as well as the bare blocks themselves.
On top of complete engines and bare blocks, we also sell numerous engine parts to help you complete your project. We sell cylinder heads, valve covers, intake manifolds and many other parts. Our parts, like our engines, are made in America. There is no better closing then to quote Carroll himself:
